Accessibility

Dear passengers with walking disabilities,

Parking:
The nearest parking lot is P5 "Am Palastweiher" or P3 "An der Helte".

Drachenfelsbahn:
Manual wheelchairs and rollators can be transported without any problems.
Unfortunately, for technical reasons, we cannot transport electric wheelchairs, electric scooters, or electrically powered wheelchairs. As an alternative, there are e.g. two foldable wheelchairs available in the valley station. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Nibelungenhalle:
Unfortunately, the Nibelungenhalle cannot be accessed with a wheelchair. There are several steps at the entrance, in the reptile zoo as well as in the exhibition hall. Contact the Niebelungenhalle.

Schloss Drachenburg:
Areas of the park and terraces as well as the north tower of Schloss Drachenburg can only be reached by steps. The exhibition rooms of the castle are accessible without steps for people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users accompanied by the staff. Schloss Drachenburg therefore asks that people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users report to the ticket office. Contact to Schloss Drachenburg.

The Drachenfelsplateau is barrier-free, as is the mountain restaurant. Contact the Drachenfels Restaurant.

General Information:
Please note that as a nature reserve, Drachenfels may not be approached by private vehicle. Therefore, the Drachenfelsbahn, of course, besides the footpath, is the only feeder to the attractions.
